Iron plays a valuable role in the production of red blood cells, as well as for normal oxygen transportation in the body, energy metabolism, cognitive functions, and the immune system. Based on the National Consumption Study II and the DGE intake recommendation, 58% of women in Germany do not achieve the recommended daily amount of iron.

We use Ayurvedic purified iron (Loha Bhasma) for our capsules. For better bioavailability, Ayurveda recommends taking it together with amalaki (not scientifically confirmed). The amalaki powder we use is rich in vitamin C.
