Calcium is an important mineral that is particularly important for the growth and maintenance of bones and teeth. It is also important for digestion, blood clotting, and the healthy signal transmission between nerve cells. According to the National Consumption Study II and the DGE intake recommendation, 46% of men and 55% of women in Germany do not achieve the recommended daily calcium intake.

We use Ayurvedic purified calcium from mussel shells (Shanka Bhasma) for our capsules. For better bioavailability, Ayurveda recommends taking it together with amalaki (not scientifically confirmed). The amalaki powder we use is rich in vitamin C.

Product Consumption Recommendation

For adults, 3 capsules daily. Daily intake contains 360 mg calcium* = 45% of the NRV value. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements do not replace a normal, varied diet. 

*Calcium is necessary for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
