Shatavari

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is a member of the asparagus family, of which the root is commonly used. It is well-known in Ayurveda as a tonic for women. The Sanskrit word ‘Shatavari’ means ‘She who owns a hundred husbands.’

Shatavari pacifies Vata and Pitta, and increases Kapha dosha.

Take 1 teaspoon twice a day. Daily consumption contains approx. 12 g butterfat, which contains 240 mg Shatavari extract. The specified recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.
